Welcome to Paws United where your pets are a member of the family. We are a small company offering in-home dog training that specializes in positive reinforcement dog training in the Vancouver, WA area and beyond. We come to you to help you train your dog. Dog training in your home is a great way to train your dog since it will be one less distraction for you and your pup to worry about since you will be in your own home.
We offer package deals for training ranging from, “we just got a puppy and haven’t had one ever” to “We have been having some issues with our dog that we’ve had for years and we want to have a better behaved dog”. You are also welcome to buy training sessions one at a time based on what you think you need. We can assess the situation at the first session. We currently do not offer board and train options, but that will be offered soon.
With several years of experience, we understand how important your pets are to you so we are fully insured for you and your pet’s protection.

I am Elizabeth and I am a Colorado native but have moved to Vancouver, WA and love it. I have always gravitated towards animals and have been working with them my entire life. I am the person that if I see you and your pet on the street I am more likely to talk to your dog before I talk to you. Pets are the joy and happiness in my life and want them to have the best possible care, love and life that they can possibly have. I have never been one to go to an office, sit and work for eight hours and go home. I am more the type that enjoys walking, playing with, training, and caring for animals all day. My previous job was a barn manager where I took care of horses all day and that taught me the importance of training in any animal. Dogs are much smaller than horses, but they are on our couches (if you so please). They need to be a respectable and respected member of the family and need to be treated as such. I am here to make that happen.
