FAQ

Do you come to my home to train my dog(s)?
Yes, we provide dog training in their home so there is less distraction for them while starting out.

How do we start training?
A 90 minute long session starts the training. This will be an assessment of you and your pup so I can create a game plan specifically for you and your pup. Training is not a one size fits all type thing. Every dog and owner is different and that has to be accounted for. This is also the time to see if I am a good fit for you. If my training style is not something you like, you can no schedule a next visit and no harm done. No trainer is a trainer for everyone. To set up an initial meeting contact us at any time.

Where are the group classes held?
Group classes are taught at our location in the Truman neighborhood in Minnehaha (Vancouver, WA).

How do I know what group class is a good fit for me?
It is assumed if you have never worked with us before you will be placed in the Beginner class. If you have already learned the basics (sit, down, stay, etc.), the intermediate group class is for you. If we have not had any one-on-one sessions we do require a single one-on-one training to establish your skill level. This can be via skype/facetime if in person is not an option.

How many dogs are in the group classes?
Group classes are limited to 5 dogs. This is to ensure everyone is getting their personalized attention as well as there being enough dogs to work on learning with distractions.

Will I be able to get a refund for my one-on-one package if we are not a good fit?
The initial consultation is 90 minutes long. If you decide after that, you will get a refund for the rest of the sessions that were not performed. After the second session, there is no refund for the package.

Is there a time limit on when a package deal needs to be completed?
Yes. After you purchase your package of 7 sessions, they must be completed within 6 months of the purchase date. If this is not done, there will be no refund

Are you Insured and Bonded?
Yes, we are Insured and Bonded through Pet Care Insurance

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept Checks, Credit Card, and Pay Pal. Payment is due at the end of an individual session. In the case of packages, payment is due before first session.

What if I have to cancel the service that I set up?
If you have to cancel any sessions you must give at least 24 hours notice. Or you will be charged the half the full amount. You can call or text: 720-635-6983 to cancel.
