Training
There are 10 items that the AKC tests for you and your dog to receive the title of AKC Canine Good Citizen. We offer training to help you pass the following items. Training pricing can be found here
- Accepting a friendly stranger
- Sitting politely for petting
- Appearance and grooming
- Out for a walk
- Walking through a crowd
- Sit and down on cue and stay in place
- Coming when called
- Reaction to another dog
- Reaction to distraction
- Supervised separation
Assessment
Each assessment is $50 for the test plus $25 for every additional dog being tested (i.e. 3 dogs being tested will be $100). You will receive the paperwork to send in to AKC who will also charge $25 for the processing of the title.
